The “geo-partner” accreditation attests to the advisory capacity of a person/structure to talk about the area as a whole. In particular, they are able to provide visitors with informations about the Geopark label and the “Park” classification, and to advise on the range of activities on offer to discover the massif and its intermediaries. Membership of the network is subject to the signing of an agreement with the Park.

There are 2 categories of geopartners:

Ambassadors: (to be guided through the massif’s geotourism offer)

These tourism professionals are able to provide initial information about the Massif des Bauges Geopark, and to direct visitors to the appropriate sites, structures or people to meet their expectations.

Experts: (to be accompanied in the field by a professional [geosciences, specific activities]).

These professionals provide guidance in the field with thematic or sporting approaches linked to the discovery of geo-heritages: mountain leaders with skills in geology, geography, astronomy / guides, lecturers, activity leaders with skills in geo-heritages / specialist supervision (potholers, canyoning, climbing, paragliding).
